Crab Sensations Empanadas with Cream Cheese & Shredded Three Cheese Mexican Blend & Pineapple Salsa

Ingredients

2 cups Crab Sensations finely crumbled
2 Tbl. Cream Cheese
1 cup Three cheese Mexican Blend finely shredded
½ Tsp. Orange Gochugaru chili blend (spiceology brand)
1 Tbl. Finely diced Roasted Red Peppers
5-inch Empanada Shells

Directions

  1. Layout 5-inch shells
  2. Mix first 5 ingredients together let sit for a few minutes. Scoop 1 1/2 tablespoons of the mixture and place in the shell. Elongate the mixture leaving edges clean to bind the shell together for frying.
  3. Pan or deep fry to golden brown, flip when pan frying to even browning. Once browned remove and place on a rack to drain and then diaper to wipe up excess oil.
  4. Serve with Pineapple Salsa or your favorite fruity salsa. You can also serve with sour crème or a drizzle of Mexican Crema over the Empanadas.
  5. Note: Once browned Empanadas can be refrigerated and reheated in an oven. 375 degrees until rethermed.
